Description
Delicious and healthy Sugar-Free Spicy Korean Air Fryer Wings that are keto approved.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup sugar-free Korean BBQ sauce
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the wings for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are crispy and cooked through.
- In the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the wings with the sugar-free Korean BBQ sauce to glaze them.
- Once done, remove the wings from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, increase the cooking time by a few minutes, but watch closely to prevent burning.
- Try adding a tablespoon of sriracha or a dash of hot sauce to the BBQ sauce for an extra kick of heat.
