  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Boil cabbage and peel off leaves.
  • Mix ground meat, rice, onion, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Roll the filling into cabbage leaves.
  • Prepare tomato sauce with onions, garlic, crushed tomatoes, and spices.
  • Bake the rolls in tomato sauce at 350°F for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
