Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, diced
- 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the diced strawberries, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño.
- Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and stir gently to combine.
- Add salt to taste and mix well.
- Let the salsa sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled chicken or fish.
Notes
- For a spicier salsa, leave some seeds in the jalapeño.
- This salsa is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
