Description

A refreshing drink that combines the sweetness of strawberries with the aromatic flavor of basil and the tartness of lemon.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the strawberries, basil leaves, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry-basil mixture with the lemon juice and water. Stir well.
  3. Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more sugar if desired.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with additional basil leaves and strawberry slices.
