- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup plum preserves
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and vegetable oil until well coated. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are crispy and cooked through.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the plum ketchup. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the plum preserves, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes. Stir until the mixture is smooth and heated through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and toss them in the plum ketchup until evenly coated.
- Serve the sticky chicken wings hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.

- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken wings in the seasoning mixture for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.
