Description
A delicious and spicy Sriracha Lime Salmon topped with creamy avocado, perfect for a quick and healthy meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (for avocado cream)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sriracha sauce, lime juice, honey, garlic powder, and salt.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the sriracha mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- While the salmon is baking, prepare the avocado cream. In a medium bowl, mash the avocado until smooth. Stir in the sour cream, lime juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the salmon topped with a dollop of avocado cream and garnish with fresh cilantro.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add more sriracha to the glaze or sprinkle red pepper flakes on top before serving.
- Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
