Description

A zesty and flavorful dish featuring baked salmon topped with a creamy avocado sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (for avocado cream)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the sriracha sauce, lime juice, honey, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the sriracha mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While the salmon is baking, prepare the avocado cream. In a medium bowl, mash the avocado until smooth. Stir in the Greek yogurt, lime juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Serve the salmon topped with a dollop of avocado cream and garnish with fresh cilantro, if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more sriracha to the glaze or sprinkle some red pepper flakes on top before baking.
  • Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
