Description
A delicious low-carb version of the classic kebab using smashed tortillas.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 low-carb tortillas (such as almond flour or coconut flour tortillas)
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup salsa
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the meat mixture into 4 equal patties.
- Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and nicely charred.
- During the last minute of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt.
- While the patties are cooking, heat the low-carb tortillas on a separate skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until warm and pliable.
- To assemble, place a grilled patty on each tortilla.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt, and a spoonful of salsa.
- Carefully smash the tortilla around the filling to create a kebab-like wrap.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the toppings.
- You can also substitute the ground meat with shredded rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
