Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Slow Cooker Rotisserie Chicken that melts in your mouth.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken (about 3.5 to 4 lbs)
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 34 garlic cloves, smashed

Instructions

  1. Mix together all seasonings in a small bowl.
  2. Pat chicken dry and rub seasoning mixture all over the chicken, including inside the cavity.
  3. Place onion and garlic cloves at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Set the chicken on top of the aromatics, breast-side up.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 4 hours, until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. For crispy skin, broil in the oven for 5–7 minutes after cooking (optional).
