- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the brisket with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Sear the brisket in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
- In a large roasting pan, combine the beef broth, diced onions, carrots, celery, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, thyme, and rosemary. Place the seared brisket on top of the vegetable mixture.
- Cover the roasting pan tightly with aluminum foil.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 4-5 hours, or until the brisket is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
- Remove the brisket from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the brisket with the roasted vegetables and pan juices.

- For a spicier kick, add 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix.
