Description

Succulent shrimp cooked in a rich, garlicky cream sauce with white wine and Parmesan cheese. Perfect for a quick and flavorful meal served over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes, lemon juice

Optional Add-Ins:

  • Fresh spinach or broccoli (for added vegetables)
  • Hot sauce or red pepper flakes (for a spicy version)

Instructions

  • Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear shrimp in olive oil, then set aside.
  • Sauté garlic in butter until fragrant. Deglaze with white wine, reducing by half.
  • Add cream and Parmesan, simmer until thickened.
  • Return shrimp to the pan and simmer for 2 more minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
  • Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread for a complete meal.
