  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. If using a store-bought pie crust, place it in a 9-inch pie dish and pre-bake for 10 minutes. If using a homemade crust, prepare it according to your recipe and then pre-bake.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined.
  4. Stir in the shredded Swiss cheese, diced ham, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the pre-baked pie crust, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set in the center and lightly golden on top. A knife inserted into the center should come out clean.
  7. Let the quiche cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • For a twist, try adding sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • You can substitute the Swiss cheese with cheddar or pepper jack for a different taste.
