Description

Delicious meatballs coated in a spicy and savory gochujang sauce, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup gochujang
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, and soy sauce. Mix well.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine gochujang, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Heat over medium heat until well combined.
  7. Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the gochujang sauce.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more gochujang to the sauce.
  • These meatballs can be served over rice or noodles.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
