Description
A luxurious frozen dessert combining the floral notes of rosewater with the tartness of raspberries.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons rosewater
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a blender, puree the raspberries until smooth and strain to remove seeds.
- In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and rosewater over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks and gradually add the warm milk mixture, stirring constantly.
- Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook until thickened, then remove from heat.
- Let the mixture cool, then fold in the raspberry puree and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold into the raspberry mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a loaf pan and freeze for at least 6 hours or until firm.
- To serve, slice and garnish with fresh raspberries and a drizzle of rosewater.
Notes
- For a more intense flavor, increase the amount of rosewater.
- Can be made a day in advance for convenience.
- Serve with additional fresh raspberries for decoration.
