- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
- 1 ounce dark chocolate, grated (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled graham cracker crust.
- Spoon the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Before serving, garnish with grated dark chocolate on top.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding a splash of almond extract to the cream cheese mixture.
- You can also substitute the cherry pie filling with blueberry or raspberry for a different twist.
