Description

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook rice in 1 1/2 cups of water until tender, about 15 minutes.
  • Add milk, sugar, and salt. Cook on medium heat until thickened, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Stir in vanilla, cinnamon, butter, and raisins if using. Cook for 5 more minutes until creamy.
  • Serve warm or chilled, garnished with cinnamon or whipped cream if desired.
