- 1/4 cup honey

- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Krispies cereal, mini marshmallows, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the peanut butter, honey, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Pour the warm peanut butter mixture over the Rice Krispies and marshmallows. Mix thoroughly until all the cereal is evenly coated.
- If using, fold in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts until evenly distributed.
- Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the dish and press it down firmly with a spatula or your hands to create an even layer.
- Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.
- Once set, cut into squares or rectangles and serve.
