- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup red candy-coated chocolate (like M&M’s)
- 1/2 cup green candy-coated chocolate (like M&M’s)
- 1/4 cup pretzel sticks, broken into pieces
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over low heat, combine the peanut butter and honey. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Add the mini marshmallows to the saucepan and mix until they are well coated with the peanut butter mixture.
- Gradually add the crispy rice cereal, stirring gently until evenly combined.
- Fold in the red and green candy-coated chocolates and broken pretzel pieces.
- Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the dish and press it down evenly with a spatula.
- Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes or until set.
- Once cooled, cut into squares or rectangles and serve.
Notes
- For a festive touch, add edible glitter or sprinkles on top before the treats set.
- Substitute almond butter for peanut butter for a nut-free option, ensuring to use a nut-free cereal as well.
