    • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
    • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • For the Filling:
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
    • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 12 tablespoons milk (optional)

Instructions

  • Make the dough: Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Add eggs, butter, food coloring, and cocoa. Gradually add flour and salt, then knead until smooth. Let rise.
  • Make the filling: Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread over rolled dough, then cut into rolls. Let rise again.
  • Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  • Make the frosting: Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Frost the warm rolls.
