- 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or melted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe mug, combine the almond flour, protein powder, baking powder, cocoa powder (if using), and sweetener. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the milk, melted coconut oil or butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly until you have a smooth batter.
- If desired, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Microwave the mug on high for 60-90 seconds, checking at the 60-second mark. The cake should rise and look set but still slightly moist in the center.
- Allow the mug cake to cool for a minute before enjoying.
