Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large croissants
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, blend the shelled pistachios until finely ground.
  3. Add the powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract to the ground pistachios and blend until smooth.
  4. Slice the croissants in half lengthwise.
  5. Fill each croissant half with the pistachio cream mixture.
  6. Place the filled croissants on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and warm.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped pistachios before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of salt to the pistachio cream.
