Ingredients

- 1/2 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh pineapple sage leaves (or regular sage if unavailable)
- 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
- 1 cup ice
- Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the diced pineapple and sage leaves.
- Cover and let steep for 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
- Strain the mixture into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
- Stir in honey while the tea is still warm, adjusting to taste.
- Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices if desired.
Notes
- For a refreshing twist, add a splash of coconut water before serving.
- Experiment with other herbs like mint or basil for different flavor profiles.
