  • 1 cup pickle juice
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Pickles for topping
  • Lettuce for topping
  • Mayonnaise for spreading

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken breasts and pickle juice. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. After marinating, remove the chicken and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. In another bowl, mix the buttermilk with the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
  4. In a separate shallow dish, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  5. Dredge each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Fry the chicken pieces for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove the chicken and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  9. Assemble the sandwiches by spreading mayonnaise on the buns, adding lettuce, the fried chicken, and pickles on top.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!
