Description

A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring the vibrant flavors of Peruvian Aji Verde.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese (your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons of Aji Verde sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions

  1. Spread Aji Verde sauce on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place a slice of cheese on top of the Aji Verde sauce on one slice of bread.
  3. Top with the second slice of bread, Aji Verde side down.
  4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
