A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring the vibrant flavors of Peruvian Aji Verde.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of cheese (your choice)
- 2 tablespoons of Aji Verde sauce
- 1 tablespoon of butter
Instructions
- Spread Aji Verde sauce on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place a slice of cheese on top of the Aji Verde sauce on one slice of bread.
- Top with the second slice of bread, Aji Verde side down.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add more Aji Verde sauce.
- Experiment with different types of cheese for varied flavors.
