Description

Create fun and delicious Penguin Oreo treats that are perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 package (12 oz) candy eyes
  • 1 package (12 oz) orange candy melts

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Mix until well combined and a dough-like consistency forms.
  3. Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  7. Dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
  8. Return the coated balls to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. While the chocolate is still wet, place two candy eyes on each ball to create the penguin’s face.
  10. Melt the orange candy melts according to package instructions.
  11. Use a toothpick or small piping bag to add a small triangle of orange candy melt for the penguin’s beak.
  12. Allow the chocolate to set completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a fun twist, try using different flavored Oreos, such as mint or peanut butter.
  • You can also add a drizzle of white chocolate on top for extra decoration.
