  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat until bubbly.
  3. Stir in the pecans and pour the mixture into a greased cake pan.
  4. In a mixing bowl, cream together the granulated sugar and remaining butter.
  5. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  6. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  8. Pour the batter over the pecan mixture in the pan.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
