Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture, whisking until smooth.
- In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter and miso paste until smooth. Add this mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
