Oven Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey are irresistible!
Ingredients

- 8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 package (8 ounces) phyllo dough, thawed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, chopped spinach, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
- Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush it lightly with melted butter. Place another sheet on top and brush it again with butter.
- Cut the layered phyllo dough into 3 equal strips. Place a tablespoon of the feta mixture at one end of each strip.
- Fold the sides of the phyllo over the filling and roll it up tightly to form a roll. Place the roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining phyllo and filling.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with any remaining melted butter. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- While the rolls are baking, prepare the chili honey by combining honey and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until warmed through and well combined.
- Remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with the chili honey before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, add finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes or olives to the feta mixture for extra flavor.
- Experiment with different herbs such as basil or thyme in the filling for a unique twist.
