  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 8 cups water
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with 8 cups of water and bring it to a vigorous boil over high heat.
  2. Season the water with salt according to your preference.
  3. Once boiling, add the Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper, stirring well.
  4. Add the peeled onions and corn halves to the pot and cook for about 10 minutes.
