A delicious and easy one pot meal featuring tender chicken thighs seasoned with shawarma spices, served with fluffy basmati rice.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into strips
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp shawarma spice blend
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chicken and season with shawarma spices, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
- Add onion and sauté until soft. Stir in rice and broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
