Delightful No-Bake Oat Crème Brûlée Bars that are vegan and gluten-free.
Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups rolled oats
- 1 cup almond flour
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup coconut cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup coconut sugar (for topping)
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond flour, maple syrup, coconut cream, vanilla extract, salt, and ground cinnamon. Mix until well combined and a sticky dough forms.
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Press the oat mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish, using a spatula or your hands to pack it down firmly.
- Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set.
- Once set, remove the bars from the dish using the parchment overhang. Cut into squares or rectangles.
- In a small bowl, mix the coconut sugar with melted coconut oil. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the bars.
- Using a kitchen torch, carefully caramelize the coconut sugar until it forms a crispy layer. If you don’t have a torch, you can place the bars under the broiler for a few minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
- Allow the bars to cool for a few minutes before serving. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the oat mixture.
- You can substitute the almond flour with oat flour for a nut-free version.
