Description

No-Bake Maple Cinnamon Velvet Slices are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that requires no baking. Perfect for a quick snack or dessert!


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup creamy almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, almond flour, maple syrup, almond butter, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and form a sticky dough.
  2. If using, fold in chopped walnuts and dark chocolate chips.
  3. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish, using a spatula or your hands to pack it down firmly.
  5. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Once set, lift the mixture out of the dish using the parchment paper and cut into squares or bars.
  7. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

  • For a nut-free version, substitute almond butter with sunflower seed butter.
