Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup bourbon
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until fully incorporated.
  5. Add the vanilla extract, maple syrup, and bourbon, and mix until smooth.
  6. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  7. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
  8. Pour the cheesecake filling over the chilled crust and spread it evenly.
  9. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  10. Once set, remove the cheesecake from the springform pan. Slice and serve chilled, drizzling additional maple syrup on top if desired.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try using dark bourbon instead of regular bourbon.
  • You can also add chopped pecans or walnuts to the crust for added texture.
  • If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the bourbon and replace it with an additional ¼ cup of maple syrup.
