Description

A delightful and festive fudge recipe perfect for Christmas celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or cherries (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and salt. Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in the chopped walnuts, mini marshmallows, and dried cranberries or cherries if using. Mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  6. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  7. Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment paper overhang and cut it into squares.

Notes

  • For a peppermint twist, add 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract and fold in crushed candy canes before pouring the mixture into the baking dish.
  • Substitute the walnuts with pecans or almonds for a different nutty flavor, or omit nuts entirely for a nut-free version.
