Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz noodles (spaghetti, linguine, or rice noodles)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Sliced green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish

Optional Add-Ins:

  • Red pepper flakes or Sriracha (for spice)
  • Stir-fried vegetables (bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini)

Instructions

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Brown the ground beef in oil, then drain excess fat.
  • Sauté garlic and ginger, then add soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin, and water. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Add beef back to the skillet, stir in the noodles, and toss to coat.
  • Serve with green onions, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of sesame oil.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add chili garlic sauce or Sriracha to the sauce.
  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey, chicken, or pork.
