- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup yuzu curd
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease four ramekins.
- Melt the butter and dark chocolate together in a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and egg yolks until pale and fluffy.
- Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
- Gently fold in the flour until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared ramekins.
- Add a spoonful of yuzu curd into the center of each ramekin.
- Top with the remaining batter to cover the curd.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are firm but the center is soft.
- Let cool for 1 minute, then invert onto plates and dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
- Serve immediately for the best molten effect.
- Yuzu curd can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
