- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
- 6 ounces cooked bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 pre-made almond flour pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined.
- Stir in the shredded Gruyère cheese, chopped bacon, green onions, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Pour the egg mixture into the almond flour pie crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider incorporating sautéed mushrooms or spinach into the filling.
- If you prefer a crustless quiche, simply grease the pie dish and pour the filling directly into it, adjusting the baking time as needed.
