Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberry ice cream
  • 1 cup sweet rice flour (mochi flour)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Cornstarch for dusting
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix sweet rice flour, sugar, and water until smooth.
  2. Microwave the mixture for 1 minute, stir, then microwave for another minute until it thickens.
  3. Dust a clean surface with cornstarch and pour the mochi mixture onto it.
  4. Let it cool slightly, then knead the mochi until smooth.
  5. Divide the mochi into small pieces and flatten each piece.
  6. Place a small scoop of strawberry ice cream in the center of each mochi piece and wrap it around the ice cream.
  7. Roll the mochi into a ball and place it in the freezer to set.
  8. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh strawberries.
