Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then remove from heat.
- Stir in the sugar until fully blended and let it cool for a moment.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Transfer the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish, smoothing it out evenly.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center reveals a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
- For the mint frosting, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, peppermint extract, and green food coloring until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the mint frosting over the cooled brownies.
