Description

Indulge in the rich and creamy layers of Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies, a delightful dessert that combines chocolatey brownies with a luscious cream cheese filling and a drizzle of caramel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup Milky Way candy bars, chopped (about 6 bars)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped Milky Way bars.
  6. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy and well combined.
  7. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
  8. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer, spreading it evenly.
  9. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top of the cream cheese layer, then swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  10. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the brownie batter.
  11. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  12. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares. For best results, chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a pinch of espresso powder to the brownie batter.
  • You can also substitute the Milky Way bars with Snickers or Twix for a different twist.
