Description

Delicious lobster tails broiled in a rich bone marrow butter, perfect for a special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails (about 68 ounces each)
  • 4 tablespoons bone marrow (scooped from roasted bones)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your broiler on high and position the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
  2. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top of each lobster tail shell lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the lobster meat out of the shell, keeping it attached at the base, and lay it on top of the shell.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the bone marrow, softened butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Spread the bone marrow butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
  5. Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  6. Broil the lobster tails for about 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through, and the butter is bubbling and slightly browned.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the lobster tails and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sprinkle a pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne pepper over the lobster tails before broiling.
  • If you can’t find bone marrow, you can substitute with additional butter or a mixture of garlic herb butter for a different flavor profile.
