- 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- In a small bowl, combine almond flour, Parmesan cheese, dill, lemon zest, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down on a plate.
- Drizzle lemon juice and olive oil over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Press the almond flour mixture onto the top of each salmon fillet, forming a crust.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the salmon in lemon juice and dill for 30 minutes before coating with the crust.
- Substitute the almond flour with crushed pork rinds for a different texture and flavor.
