Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Spoon the lemon pie filling over the cream cheese layer, spreading it gently to cover.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the yellow cake mix and melted butter. Stir until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the lemon pie filling.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
  6. While the cake is baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and salt in a small bowl until smooth.
