A delicious twist on traditional tacos, featuring smash burgers served on crispy cheese shells.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 4 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Taco toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Form the beef into small patties.
  4. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place small mounds of shredded cheese, flattening them into circles.
  5. Bake the cheese in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until melted and slightly crispy.
  6. Remove the cheese from the oven and immediately place the cooked beef patties on top.
  7. Fold the cheese shells over the patties to form tacos.
  8. Top with your favorite taco toppings and serve immediately.
