- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 3 tablespoons water
Instructions
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over water and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan, heat the milk and lavender over medium heat until it simmers. Remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain the lavender from the milk and return the milk to the saucepan. Add white chocolate and sugar, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Add the bloomed gelatin to the warm mixture and stir until dissolved.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
- Garnish with additional lavender or white chocolate shavings before serving.
