Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill or pan-sear the steak over medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  3. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
  4. In a small bowl, mix sour cream and sriracha to create the spicy cream sauce.
  5. Assemble the rice bowls by placing cooked rice at the bottom, topped with sliced steak, and drizzled with spicy cream sauce.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
