Description
Delicious Korean BBQ meatballs served with a spicy mayo dip, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or coconut aminos for a soy-free option)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
For the Spicy Mayo Dip:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, black pepper, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and have a nice golden color.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the spicy mayo dip by mixing together the mayonnaise, sriracha, lime juice, and garlic powder in a small bowl until smooth.
- Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve warm, garnished with sesame seeds if desired, alongside the spicy mayo dip.
Notes
- For added flavor, try incorporating chopped cilantro or parsley into the meatball mixture.
- If you prefer a sweeter dip, add a small amount of keto-friendly sweetener to the spicy mayo.
