- 2 (5-ounce) cans tuna, drained
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup sweet relish, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup crushed pork rinds (optional for topping)
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- In a spacious bowl, mix together the drained tuna, mayonnaise, mozzarella cheese, chopped bell peppers, green onions, and sweet relish until well incorporated.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs with sour cream, garlic powder, dried basil, black pepper, and sea salt until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the egg mixture over the tuna mixture, stirring gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
- Spoon the combined mixture into the greased baking dish, smoothing it out evenly. Top with crushed pork rinds if desired.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is firm and the top is golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving and garnish with fresh dill.
Notes
- Crushed pork rinds are optional but add a nice crunch.
- Feel free to customize the vegetables based on your preference.
