- ½ cup coconut flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or coconut aminos for a keto-friendly option)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large mixing bowl until combined.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and blend in the warm water and olive oil.
- Slowly incorporate the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until a cohesive dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for a few minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef, cooking until browned.
- Drain excess fat and mix in the soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, green onions, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
- After resting, divide the dough into 8 equal portions, roll each into a ball, and flatten into a disc about ¼ inch thick.
- Spoon a generous amount of the beef mixture into the center of each disc, fold the edges over the filling, and pinch to seal.
- Arrange the filled pockets in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper and steam over boiling water for 15-20 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy!

- For an added kick, mix in a teaspoon of chili paste or sriracha into the beef filling.
