  • Author: Chef Hicham
  • Total Time: 35-40 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x
  • Diet: Low Carbohydrate

Description

A decadent and keto-friendly hot fudge pie that is rich in chocolate flavor and perfect for those following a low-carb diet.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated erythritol or your preferred keto sweetener
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, erythritol, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and heavy cream until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined. Fold in the sugar-free chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pie pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving. The pie will continue to set as it cools.
  8. Serve warm, optionally topped with whipped cream or a scoop of sugar-free ice cream.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a teaspoon of instant coffee granules to the batter.
  • You can substitute the almond flour with coconut flour, but use only 1/3 cup as it absorbs more moisture.
  • Serve with keto-friendly sides such as pork rinds or fresh cucumber slices for a crunchy contrast.
