Description
A decadent and keto-friendly hot fudge pie that is rich in chocolate flavor and perfect for those following a low-carb diet.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated erythritol or your preferred keto sweetener
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar-free chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, erythritol, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and heavy cream until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined. Fold in the sugar-free chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pie pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving. The pie will continue to set as it cools.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with whipped cream or a scoop of sugar-free ice cream.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a teaspoon of instant coffee granules to the batter.
- You can substitute the almond flour with coconut flour, but use only 1/3 cup as it absorbs more moisture.
- Serve with keto-friendly sides such as pork rinds or fresh cucumber slices for a crunchy contrast.
